What do you think?

Fug or okay?

Mi Madre gave me this old (vintage - ha! that's what I like to call everything that is old. Makes me feel better) china set. I remember these from waaay back in the day. They were probably made in the 80's.

What do you think? Should I keep em (I currently have NO china) or take them to Goodwill?

Be honest. You will not hurt my feelings...

He's Crafty... And he's just my type!

Husband is crafty too! Look at this super awesome roulette table he made. Built and painted all by hand. Thankyouverymuch!

Pretty cool, huh?

It's in the roomate's room for now. It'll go back into the garage once he moves out.

It's that time again...

1. Did you pass your driver's test on the first try?

2. What is your most embarrassing moment?

4. Would you ever get plastic surgery and what kind?

5. What are your favorite jeans to wear?

My Little Life

1. Did you pass your driver's test on the first try?

I'm proud to say that I did!

2. What is your most embarrassing moment?
Hmm... I'd have to say the time when I was at a Tae Kwon Do testing graduation and I walked into the bathroom. I just felt like I needed to wash my hands, they felt icky. So I am washing my hands and as I dry them off I look up into the mirror and see a man standing/peeing at a urinal. It all crashes down on me that I am IN THE MEN'S BATHROOM. I was like, "oh shiiit. This isn't the women's bathroom is it?" And then I high tail it out of there. I was so embarrassed.

3. What TV show would you like to be on- Oprah, Biggest Loser, or What Not to Wear?

Hmmm this is hard. You usually get free gifts on Oprah. But I love WHat Not To Wear. I'd throw out my whole wardrobe for a brand new one. The only thing is, I would not let their hair stylist Nick whatever, cut my hair. I HATE all the hairstyles he cuts. And he cuts with a razor most of the time. ::shudders::

4. Would you ever get plastic surgery and what kind
?
Hell yeah! After we're done having kids I will get my boobies done (not like huge implants but like a lift), Tummy tuck if I need it (which i probably will), and I'd love to get my double chin lipo suctioned off.

5. What are your favorite jeans to wear?
Hmm... whatever fits! haha Right now I love Old Navy jeans. They seem to fit the best. I am totally in between sizes right now and it sucks.

Time to check off some goals

2. Help Husband with simple chores more often - completed 3/22

I'm definitely checking this off my list. Since I've been working from home I've definitely been helping with keeping the house clean. Actually, I feel like all I ever do is clean the god damn kitchen.

17. Dog park twice a month (weather permitting) completed 3/22

I've actually been trying to take them every Saturday and have been taking them at LEAST twice a month. I love grabbing a Starbucks and hanging out at the dog park. It's starting to warm up though and they can't really handle the heat very well, so our time at the dog park may be coming to an end soon. Oh well, then we have the pool!

29. Go on 5 road trips just because (1/5)

I'm counting our Valentine's Day up north in the snow as a road trip.

52. GTG with my latte girls and meet their new babies (2/5)

Chelsea's baby shower and Sauce GTG. Fun! Love Lisa's little one and Wyatt is just the cutest thing on the earth.

54. Read 10 new books (8/10)

I've been reading the Sookie Stackhouse novels. I'm on All Together Dead, the 7th one (I think). I love them. This one is a little boring and is taking me a little longer to get through, though. And I am a little disappointed at the lack of romance/smut. I thought it would have a little more romance in it. But other than that, I do love them. Up next, Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang!

5 Qustions Friday

(Yeah, I know it's Sunday, whatevs)

1. Have you ever had a celeb sighting?

2. What temperature do you keep your house?

3. Do you notice dust at other peoples homes?

4. What's the worst job you ever had?

5. What is your most sentimental possession?

My Little Life

1. Have you ever had a celeb sighting?

Besides band members? No. I've met the boys from Authority Zero (kind of local celebs) a couple times. I mean, like at meet and greets, not actually hanging out with them or anything. I did hang out with Scott Russo(YUM) from Unwritten Law once. When I meet celebs I get really ridiculously shy and don't talk at all, just hang in the background cause I don't want to act like a crazy fan or anything. Even though inside I'm like "OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG! LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!" the whole time. haha

2. What temperature do you keep your house?
I keep the thermostat at 68 in the winter and like 78-ish in the summer.

3. Do you notice dust at other peoples homes?
No, not unless it's like really noticable.

4. What's the worst job you ever had?
Hmm... my first job was at Just For Feet. I HATED it!

5. What is your most sentimental possession?
Definitely my wedding/engagement rings. I would DIE if I lost them.

BFN

Big Fat Negetive. :( That's what I got this month. I'm a little bummed, but not too bad because I actually expected it. (TMI Alert).... Husband and I missed sex on the days I was actually ovulating, but I thought I might still have a chance considering we "did it" like the day or two before and you know how sperm can swim in there for a couple days or whatever... Also, the fact that I was able to get pregnant without barely trying at all the first two times. Oh well. On to next month. Oh and note to self: don't tell your Husband that you're ovulating so you have to do it. On top of all the other stress, it stresses him out even more. Plus, what guy really wants to hear, "Hey babe. I'm ovulating, let's fuck!" No.. not attractive to any guy I'm assuming. Just pretend that you're really horny and want him every day that week. haha

The good side to this is I get a little more time to work out hard. Not that I don't plan on working out once I pregnant, I just don't plan on working out as hard (for example I think Cage Fitness is a little too hardcore for a pregnant woman).

I also think Husband feels better about this too. We got in an argument about a week ago about TTC. Basically he thought it might be better to wait another month or two instead of just one cycle (but what do I know? The docs are telling me it's okay), and thinks I need to chill out a bit. He's scared to death (as am I) of another miscarriage. I totally understand his side. It was just the way he said it that made the argument. Guys should just really sit and THINK before they say certain things. Especially talking to a woman who is A.) baby crazy and B.) super sensitive about her baby making situation.

This is just really hard for me. Like I said before, we started this so casually. I wanted to get knocked up and all that, but I wasn't so... what's the word... I don't know, impatient(?) about it. It wasn't (and still am not) charting or anything(which i probably won't unless I feel like I really need to. It's just too confusing for me), and I was just having fun with it. I really wish I could go about it that way again. I really do. Because now I'm anxious and stressed and definitely feeling impatient. Every day someone on facebook announces their pregnancy. I get two different emails a week - "Your pregnancy: week 25" and/or "Your Bump: Week 19". It really makes me sad to see those. I need to get them to stop sending them somehow. I mean, I'd be over halfway through my first pregnancy by this time! I would be decorating a nursery and finding out the sex of my baby! Ugh. That really depresses me. However, after two miscarriages which I cannot explain how disappointing that is to happen one time let alone two, I feel almost justified to feel this way. Does that make sense?

Someone help me calm down. I know it will happen. I just feel like throwing a fit and jumping up and down yelling "I WANT IT NOW!!!" I feel like such a psycho sometimes.

Crafts: Hair Flower/Bow Holder Thing-a-ma-jigger

I was at Hissyfits this weekend with my Latte girls and saw this cute Hair Flower/Bow Holder thingy. I said, "oooh! This is cute!" Then I looked at it again and said, "oooh! I can make this!" It's made with a picture frame, fabric, and ribbon, and I had these old dingy picture frames in my closet, so I figured I'd try to make one. Granted, it would be cuter with a cuter frame, but it does the trick. But I have this super cute sugar skull fabric left over from a tote bag FAIL. Plus I needed something better to hang my flowers on. Here's what I was using before:

Pretty sad, huh?

And here it is in action!

5 Question Friday

I like these and am going to try to do it every Friday. I originally saw it on Jenni's blog, but I followed her link from last Friday and got today's questions since she hadn't posted them yet.

My Little Life

Here's today's questions:

1. How much time do you spend on the computer a day?

2. Will you pay for your children's college or raise them to pay for their own way?

3. Have you ever been in a car accident?

4. What is your favorite book?

5. Do you make your bed everyday?

And my Answers:

1. How much time do you spend on the computer a day? Uh... like ALL day. At least 8 hours. Now that I work from home, I have two screens next to eachother. One for work, one for play. DH says I look like a hacker. haha. So yeah, I spend most of my day on Facebook playing Yoville and annoying people.

2. Will you pay for your children's college or raise them to pay for their own way?
I'd love to be able to save a college fund for my children. My parents didn't do that for us, and it's hard to have to work full time and go to school. My ideal situation would be to be able to pay for their college (or at least most of it), and then they would have to work part time at least for their spending money.

3. Have you ever been in a car accident?
Umm... a couple. :/ I had my first car for a total of 3 months before it was totaled. I had 2 accidents in that car, and so the bumper was tied on with a rope for quite a while before I wrecked it. I was a bad bad driver once apon a time.

4. What is your favorite book?
Twilight, duh!

5. Do you make your bed everyday?
Hell no. I try because Husband likes it made but do i actually end up doing it? Nope.

Valentine's Day: Part Dos

I know, I'm a slacker... This is not new news.

Anywho, we celebrated our V-Day, Saturday the 13th, since Valentine's fell on a Sunday and I work Sundays. We had planned having a day trip up north to play in the snow. Husband asked me the previous night what time I wanted to leave and of course i tell him, not too early. Maybe around 10-ish. Which in reality means I'll be waking up around 10-ish. He says he needed to go to his mom's to help her with something around 8AM.

He lied.

I woke up (around 9-ish, actually) to a weird sound. It sounded like it was raining. Maybe it was because I was half asleep, because it was actually cooking bacon. I call for Husband and he ignores me at first. So I call him in the bedroom again, and he comes in and I ask if it's raining. He says no and I'm not allowed to be awake yet. Okay, I'll lay in bed a little more, no problemo there. I get up a few minutes later and he's actually making me breakfast. He had the table set and got me some roses that he put in a vase all by himself. It was so cute and unexpected. Husband is really not a romancer at all, so when he does things like this it really catches me by surprise.

A photo of the roses

After breakfast we headed up north. We went towards Flagstaff. By Morman Lake, where the Husband camps. Here are the pictures of our fun in the snow.
