Recipe: Low Calorie Banana Muffins

I made this recipe from Spark Recipes just now:

Ingredients
3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup mashed bananas
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup applesauce
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease muffin tin or use paper muffin liners.
Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate bowl, beat banana, sugar, egg, and vanilla. Stir in applesauce.
Stir in flour mixture.
Pour batter into muffin cups. About 3/4 full.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the muffin comes out clean.
If you use paper liners, the muffins stick to the paper until they have set awhile.
Makes 12 servings

I made a few changes.... I used all whole wheat flower instead of 3/4 white and 1/4 wheat, and I added walnuts. So the nutrition info may differ with my changes.

I'm eating them now, and they're okay. Kind of dry... But now that I look at the recipe again, I just realized that i forgot applesauce. That explains why they taste off. Damnit!

Sorry no picture. Don't know where the camera ran off to.
