A couple weekends ago I decided that it was time to redo the master bedroom. My idea for the first time around was a big FAIL! I had a good idea in my head, but it just didn't turn out right. Not right at all. The wall color was a lot brighter than the sample looked, we couldn't find the right bedding, it was just a mess. It was plain ugly! The hubs went out of town a couple weekends ago, and I had nothing else to do, so I went up to the Home Depot and got a couple gallons of paint. After staring at paint swatches forever, I finally decided on Classic Taupe by Behr. It's a little boring, but I give up on trying to be bold. When I try to be bold it ends up looking like this:
I'm so embarrassed to even show that. Ugh. It was all my fault too. The hubs is completely innocent when it comes to that mistake. But I'm not a decorating/design expert. I'm learning as I go, so give me a break, okay?!
Anyway, Here are the new pictures:
I got new bedding too! A great deal at Big Lots.
Close Up
I would have to say this is much improvement. Much more relaxing too. I think I redeemed myself. WDYT?
Anyway, off to watch the season finale of America's Best Dance Crew!

WAY BETTER!!! although I think you might of had somethin with that bluish color if it was toned down a little.. ;0) I'm the same way though when it comes to decorating - I see it in my head but when I try to get it out there - its BLAH!!
but you definitely redeemed your self.. :0) Good Job!
