Halloween!

Did you know that Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday? It is. Trumps Christmas for sure (although that would be my second favorite holiday now that I have my beh-beh). I love everything about it. The dressing up, haunted houses, spooky decor, scary movies, zombies, vampires, blood, gore, fall leaves, nice weather. I wish it was October every month.

We went to a haunted house called The 13th Floor for my birthday. It was tons of fun. I was so scared and didn't want to do it at first, but I'm so glad I did. The haunted house was really cool. The makeup, and effects were awesome. Then when you were done with the haunted house part, you entered Zombieland. So cool!

I was messing around on You Tube, watching Halloween makeup tutorials and was inspired. Here's a few looks I played around with this weekend. I didn't really go anywhere cool or do anything. Literally on Saturday night, I spent an hour doing the Frankenstein type makeup, took pictures of myself, washed it off and went to bed. I'm so lame...

For the "sexy Frankenstein" makeup, I was inspired by this tutorial.
 At first I did the pink lipstick like in the vid, but I actually like the red better.

The Cave Woman wasn't inspired by anything really, I just wanted to try something out for our Halloween costumes. I like how it turned out! Oh, and I made that felt bone hair clip, but that's a whole other post coming soon.

Time for a little gore! I busted out some blood, for what I call, my "Bloody Mary" makeup.

And here's my True Blood crying vampire.  Haha! 

Whatya think? I had a lot of fun playing with the makeup. I want to do a zombie one also, but I don't know if I'll have time for that.
