I NEED one of these

I've actually have always wanted to Moby Wrap. They are way more comfortable than those other contraptions. I actually know this because I've used one of those other carriers when I have carried around my friend's baby (yes I have carried my friend's baby around Target a time or two). Let me tell you each time we've used it, it took us at least five minutes to even figure out how it's supposed to go, then which snap goes where. Sure it's gonna take some practice to learn the different ways to tie the wrap, but I will get the hang of it.

But anyway, I really want a Moby Wrap. I just love that there are many different ways to use it.

Uh... Hi. Can we say mom jeans? haha!

Any comments, reviews, or anything I should know about the Moby Wrap? Let me know!

Weekly Update

This week has been better. I think (for now at least) my migranes have gone away ::knock on wood:::. However, this week they were replaced with heartburn/acid reflux. I think a little of both. I've never had either in my life, so I didn't know what it was. I felt like I had to puke stomach acid and it was just stuck in the bottom of my throat. That's what it felt like. Started last Sunday. Actually, probably before that. Sunday I actually made myself throw up, cause I felt like I just wanted to get it over with and feel better. Well, it didn't make me feel any better, and then it continued pretty much non stop. It was Tuesday when a lightbulb went off and I said to Husband, "Maybe this is heartburn? It feels worse when I eat." I looked it up, and yep. It was heartburn. It was getting so bad that I couldn't sleep! So I got some Tums and those things kicked it in the ass and it's been gone ever since. If I feel it coming on I just pop a couple Tums and it goes away.

Since then I've been feeling human again, thank God. We'll see what week 14 has in store for me!

How far along? 13wks 6d

Total Weight Gain? Down two pounds

Maternity Clothes? I'm in maternity pants full time now, maternity shirts are still too big.

Stretch Marks? no new ones

Sleep? waking up 3 times a night to pee. Also, I've been waking up anywhere from 3 to 5AM and I'm just wide awake and cannot go back to sleep.

Best Moment This Week? hearing heartbeat at doctor!

Movement? Nothing I can feel, yet. But we heard the baby kick a couple times while listening to the heartbeat!

Food Cravings? hmmm... not really anything in paticular, just more hungry now.

Gender? don't know yet :(

Labor signs? no effing thank you!

Belly Button? Innie

What I Miss? nothing really

What I Am Looking Forward To? July 20th!! That's when we find out the sex. I literally cannot wait. I may die of anxiety by then.

Weekly Wisdom? Chewing gum for heartburn really does work! And Tums too.

Milestones? Other than the fact that I'm still pregnant and our baby is still thriving and growing, nothing really this week.

NT Scan

About a week and a half ago we went in for our scheduled NT Ultrasound Scan. It was pretty cool. I honestly wasn't even that worried. I think for the first time in a long time I actually wasn't worried about anything pregnancy related... weird. The baby was being a little stinker. She/he was so cozy and was sleeping. Didn't want to move so we could get see the spot behind the neck that we needed to see. So we poked at it (God I can't wait to stop calling it an "it") for about fourty minutes until it finally flipped and we got what we needed.

Anywho everything looked great. I got my bloodwork results back last week and they came out "negative" is what my nurse said. I was expecting a ratio, so I'm not sure. Whatever. I'll ask my doc tomorrow at my appointment.

I meant to update last week but I've been feeling like death. Migranes. In the Emergency room for dehydration. More migranes. I read that you might get headaches but shit! This is awful. I still feel awful. Last Sunday (meaning, not yesterday but a week ago) I got a mild headache. I just brushed it off thinking it'd go away. Well it didn't. It got progressively worse throughout the week and by Wednesday night I could feel a migrane coming on. Thursday I woke up feeling like I got ran over by a freakin semi! I had THE worst migrane ever, super dizzy and nauseous because of those two. I was puking. I felt so awful I called my nurse right away. She called me back and told me I should go into the ER cause it sounds like I could be dehydrated. I didn't want to so I waited it out maybe an hour to see if I started feeling any better after taking some Tylonol. I didn't, so I told Husband it's time to go to the hospital. Ugh. I went, got some IV and pain meds, they took a ton of blood and ran urine tests. Everything came back fine. Even got to hear the baby's heartbeat on their piece of crap doppler! It was good at 172. They sent me home with some pain meds and I went on my way. I'm still not feeling good but soooo much better than Thursday. Hell, even much better than Saturday. I was in so much pain again Saturday that I actually called Husband and my mom crying. This is honestly worse than ANY morning sickness I experienced.

Anyway, here are the Ultrasound pics. While waiting for the baby to flip the tech took some 3-D ones too! So awesome!

Because I have nothing else to blog about

I'm trying not to be one of those chicks that posts about nothing but their pregnancy (of course, unless, it's a pregnancy blog), but I don't have anything else to talk about. So... here's my weekly update incase you care.

How far along? 11 weeks 3 days

Total Weight Gain? I weighed myself at home and it looks like I'm actually down a pound or two. I go to the doctor on the 22nd so we'll see for sure then.

Maternity Clothes? I'm in the icky in between stage right now, where I don't fit into any of my clothes, but maternity clothes are still too big. Actually I bought a pair of pants and they fit great. Very comfy. But the shirts are still way too big. Hmph!

Stretch Marks?
no new ones

Sleep? starting to get a little uncomfortable, but nothing I can't handle. I need to kick at least one dog out of the bed, I think. I have noticed I've been waking up about 3 times a night to pee though.

Best Moment This Week? NT ultrasound today. That's another post with pictures coming up. I need to scan them first.

Movement? Nothing I can feel, yet.

Food Cravings? hmmm... not really anything in paticular. My morning sickness is almost gone so I'm not as picky as I was before. still a little picky but not as bad.

Gender? too early but the u/s tech said by looking at it today he THINKS it's going to be a girl! Too early obviously to know for sure but he said he thinks it's like a 60% chance of being a girl. We shall see...

Labor signs? no effing thank you!

Belly Button? Innie

What I Miss?
Working out. It came to a hault when I got that BFP because I was scared and tired, and feeling like shit. I'm feeling better and have much more energy now, so I'm slowly starting to work out again. I rented a prenatal workout DVD and am swimming. I've yet to step foot in the gym, but hey a 40 minute DVD probably works better anyway!

What I Am Looking Forward To?
I want my belly to "pop" already and I cannot wait to find out the sex!

Weekly Wisdom? I'm not all that wise, yet.

Milestones? I'll be 12 weeks Monday! I think it's pretty safe to say that we're in the clear!! WOOO HOOO! ::does happy dance:::

Your baby, just over 1 1/2 inches long and about the size of a fig, is now almost fully formed. Her hands will soon open and close into fists, tiny tooth buds are beginning to appear under her gums, and some of her bones are beginning to harden.

She's already busy kicking and stretching, and her tiny movements are so effortless they look like water ballet. These movements will become more frequent as her body grows and becomes more developed and functional. You won't feel your baby's acrobatics for another month or two — nor will you notice the hiccupping that may be happening now that her diaphragm is forming.
